The Wsbk Championship was staged on the trilling track at the Nürburgring giving fans even during the 12th round a lot of emotions and adrenaline. The Effenbert Liberty Racing Team back on track after having used the weeks following the race at Silverstone to reorganize its human, technical and logistical resources, and for this purpose it chose not to take part in the Moscow Grand Prix, also in view of programming the 2013 season, has once again demonstrated its tenacity and determination.
News, returns and confirmations have therefore characterized the German round. On the occasion of this Gp the Team has chosen the Italian rider Lorenzo Lanzi for its third bike, replacing Kuba Smrz. The rider, enthusiastically accepted the opportunity offered by the team Effenbert back on a Sbk after some time of absence.
Lanzi, who arrived at the circuit on Friday morning has been put on the suit and gave one hundred percent as soon as possible to adapt to the new bike and face, even physically, challenging the Gp.
So the first day of testing, Lorenzo obtained the time 1'59 .636 during the practice and 1'59 .145 in qualifying 1, increasing lap after lap his feeling with the bike.
But the GP of Germany will remain unforgettable for the team also because finally the rider Brett McCormick has returned to full role in the team, competing in his first race after his long absence caused by the bad injury at Assen and the long convalescence that ensued. The talented rider rode on his Ducati during the Grand Prix in Silverstone, making only a few rounds of testing, and right here at the Nürburgring, fearless and fully recovered, he threw himself into the fray of the SBK.
